Overzicht

In this independant role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the business processes align with risk management standards. Your focus will be on providing independent and objective assurance to organizations by evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes and governance structures, ultimately contributing to the organizations overall success and sustainability. You will work in a matrix with the audit departments in Japan and USA. As a guideline, you will:

• Conduct internal financial audits and risk assessments
• Test and document financial records for information integrity and transaction accuracy
• Report discrepancies
• Prepare audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated
• Execute internal audits within established business process controls
• Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and regulatory compliance agencies, if applicable and makes recommendations as appropriate.
• Facilitate word of external auditors during on-site visits
• Understanding of the IPPF (International Professional Practices Framework, published by The Institute of Internal Auditors

Gevraagde achtergrond

• Academic degree, ideally including RA / CIA or other related degrees
• At least 8-10 years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of audit principles, methodologies and risk assessment techniques
• Knowledge of the applicable laws, regulations and industry standards
• Ability to analyze financial statements, transactions, budgets and financial data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies or areas for improvement
• Strong communicator
• Able to work independently
