Overzicht

This role is office-based in Capelle aan den Ijssel, working from home is occasionally possible.

You will be responsible for:

• • Preparing and analyzing financial reporting for various European locations
  • Performing statutory audits and compliance reporting activities
  • Performing and monitoring general ledger reconciliations
  • Processing monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities of the general ledger
  • Coordinating and participating in development projects – planning, testing, and implementation
  • Developing and training others to achieve goals and to optimize business results
  • Performing special projects and analysis as required
  • Other administrative tasks as necessary.

Gevraagde achtergrond

You have solid experience with reporting, great analytic and problem-solving skills. You are committed, well organized, responsible and accurate, have a sense of urgency and work well under pressure with deadlines. You are pro-active, hands-on and able to maintain contacts with different stakeholders at various levels. Over the past years, you’ve built up experience with accounting and reporting, and have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master in Finance/Accounting or a related field
• 4-7 years relevant experience in an international environment
• Experience with project work
• Preferred experience with SAP ByD
• Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is preferred
• Pro-active and organized team player
• SSC Experience is a plus
