Over de positie

As Internal Auditor you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the business processes align with risk management standards. Your focus will be on overseeing internal audits, optimizing processes, and maintaining financial accuracy within Topcon’s operational framework.

In this role, you’ll manage the quality of financial data within processes, ensuring seamless delivery to the Finance team by upholding standards of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Working closely as a strategic partner, you’ll oversee process optimizations to enhance operational efficiency across EMEA’s business functions.

Your responsibility includes designing and implementing a robust Process Control Framework, streamlining operations and fostering consistency across diverse business units. Additionally, you’ll develop and manage operational quality frameworks and tools, enabling effective performance tracking, planning, and quality assessment.

You’ll execute audits based on established standards and collaborate with departments to address internal/external audit deficiencies. Providing guidance on financial accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance will be integral to your role, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and legislations.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Preparation and analysis of financial reporting for various European locations
Conducting statutory audits and compliance reporting activities
Monitoring and performing general ledger reconciliations
Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities of the general ledger
Coordination and participation in development projects, including planning, testing, and implementation
Providing training and development support to optimize business results
Conducting special projects and analysis as required
Fulfilling other administrative tasks as necessary.

The ideal candidate is committed, well-organized, responsible, and accurate, thriving under pressure with tight deadlines. You should be proactive, hands-on, and adept at maintaining relationships with stakeholders at various levels. If you have accumulated experience in accounting and reporting and meet the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
4-7 years of relevant experience in an international environment
Experience with project work
Preferably experience with SAP ByD
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is preferred
Proactive and organized team player
SSC Experience is a plus
